5 Day Initial Level Occupational Health & Safety Course for Health and Safety Representatives, Managers and Supervisors

The Occupational Health Safety Act 2004 creates a legal entitlement under Section 67 for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) and Deputies (Section 57) to receive training in occupational health and safety at an initial level. This entitlement allows HSRs and Deputies to attend training courses that are delivered by training providers that are approved by WorkSafe Victoria.

This training provides HSRs and Deputies with an introduction to OHS legislation and principles, plus practical advice to assist them in their workplace representative roles.
